Mexican Boy Cut In Affray At Farm Dance
Felix Valdez a 16 year old Mexican youth was badly cut on the left forearm during a Saturday night affray at a tenant house on the Edwin Oehler farm on Burnet Road. Sinon Arizola 17 drew a three inch pocket knife and slashed Valdez wrist to the bone severing blood vessels. Valdez received surgical care in Fredericksburg. Arizola fled and was arrested hours later by Sheriff Klaerner and jailed locally.

Legion Sponsors July Fourth Celebration
