Aged Woman Shot On Fredericksburg Porch
Mrs. Louis Gardner an 80 plus resident was found with a head wound on her porch near midnight Sunday. She identified neighbor Albert Klein as the shooter who fled the yard with a rifle. Klein was charged with aggravated assault and attempt to murder. He waived examination and posted $2000 bond to await grand jury action.

Mrs Georgia Anne Thomas born February 24 1867 Madisonville Texas died June 12 1933 after moving with family to Llano County. She married Benjamin Franklin Thomas on March 18 1883 at their home near Oxford Llano County and had seven children. Funeral services were held with local church and Eastern Star members participating. Interment at Eckert cemetery.
