Jaycee Officers Re elected and Committees Named
Jaycee officers and directors were re elected to serve until January 4 1945. A jersey show and billy sale were planned for late summer or early fall under Jaycee sponsorship with Werner Klier Wilburn Brown Guenther Ottmers and Paul Mann on committee roles. Election judges volunteered for the Democratic Primary on Saturday July 22 with four city polls to be staffed. The next meeting will be a ladies night organized by the officers' wives and directors spouses.

Gillespie County Mutual Aid Insurance Association elected Hugo Weinheimer Chas Lang and Henry Hirsch as directors at its annual meeting in Fredericksburg with Otis Henke presiding. Otto Henke reelected president Henry Hirsch named vice president Wm Dietel named secretary treasurer. The group approved a 3000 loan purchase for the county Fifth War Loan Drive. Membership stood at 530 with six new members, five drops and 12 deaths. One member reported killed in action and policy payments were withheld.
