Daycee Officers Re elected and Jersey Show Planned
The Daycee club renewed officers to serve until January 1, 1945 with Paul Mann Ben H Heinen Elgin Crenwelge Atley Berg Guenther Ottmers and Werner Klier continuing. Committees were named for a jersey show and a Billy Sale under Jaycee sponsorship to occur late summer or early fall. Election judges will assist in the Democratic Primary on July 22 at four city polls. A ladies night is planned with officers wives handling meals and entertainment.

Sgt. Rode joined William Van Hooghenuze Hardware in San Antonio before enlisting on February 27, 1943.
