Pfc Andrew R Frantzen former Gillespie countian was reburied Wednesday July 7 at 3 p m in City Cemetery with rites led by Rev Otto Lindenberg. Burial honors were provided by the Louis Jordan Post American Legion and the Frantzen Ahrens Post Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving siblings include Elsie Kerrville Eleonora Boerne Paula Maplewood and parents Mr and Mrs Emil Frantzen of Luckenbach.

Gillespie Mutual Converts To Old Line Reserve
The Gillespie County Mutual Aid Insurance Association will convert from a mutual aid society to an old line life insurance company later, forming the Gillespie County Reserve Mutual Insurance Company. The move, approved at a Saturday meeting led by Otto Henke, enables locally owned life policies up to 5,000 with 10 20 or 30 year terms and optional double indemnity, cash value and future dividends.
