Kansas reports widespread influenza with cases rising in more than half the counties and only two deaths. New York forecasts over 4 000 cases tomorrow with a high death rate continuing. Chicago records 96 influenza deaths and 91 pneumonia deaths in 24 hours amid rising totals.
