Checks totaling funds for Salvation Army Red Cross Boy Scouts Girl Scouts and Texas Rehabilitation Center were handed to agency representatives in the Fredericksburg National Bank. The Texas A and I College Band will perform in Fredericksburg High School Auditorium on Thursday February 27 at 8 pm for one hour. Dr Joe Bellamah will conduct a program of varied music featuring 90 band students including Fredericksburg natives Forrester Halamicek Gerald Henke Johnny Schuch Johnny Luckenbach Ricky Burgess Steven Jamison. The band arrives at 5 pm and will stay overnight leaving Friday at 8 am. Housing for a band student is sought via Tom Rhodes at school or home.

A. W. Klingelhoefer added a third 20000 gift to the Au gust W. Klingelhoefer Student Assistance Fund started in 1965 with Fredericksburg National Bank as Trustee. The fund now totals 80000 in permanent scholarships for graduating Fredericksburg High School seniors.
