Major Additions Planned For The Sunday House Motel Expansion
Construction starts on major add ons to The Sunday House Motel in East Main Street after purchase of the Besier property. Mrs. Parker says details await her husband’s return while city officials study a $150,000 building permit. January permits totaled $227,000, the highest for the first month of the year.

Fredericksburg FHS Band to Host Turkey Dinner and Concert
The Fredericksburg Public School Band Boosters sponsor a Sunday Turkey Dinner at the Elementary School Auditorium starting 11 a.m. Tickets are 1.25 for adults and 0.85 for children with to go meals available. A 1:45 p.m. concert in the Junior High Gym features Tom C. Rhodes directing various bands and solos.

Krauskopf Bros Begin New East Highway Facility
Work started in January on a new Krauskopf Bros. home on East Highway Street near Gillespie County Auction Sales Co. The 15 775 square foot concrete block steel frame complex includes 75 by 125 foot offices and displays and an 80 by 80 foot shop wing. Completion is hoped by late 1967 with sheds and facilities. the firm plans to consolidate operations on the 10 acre Highway Street tract.

Willie Hahn Rural Home Destroyed By Fire Sunday
The rural home of Willie Hahn, six miles southeast of Fredericksburg in the Meusebach Creek community, was gutted by fire Sunday afternoon. The blaze started in a tank house and ga rage, spread to a frame porch, and raced through the dwelling, leaving only stone walls. William Hahn of San Antonio, a grandson of the owner, discovered the fire.
