Advocacy drives Frederick County parent teacher groups today
The Frederick County PTA leaders recall a century of child advocacy from the National Congress of Mothers founding in 1897 to today. They highlight school building projects like Deer Crossing and Whiter/Yellow Springs, roundtables with administrators, workshops on drugs and schooling, and state level lobbying for funding and safety measures.
