Deli Marks 20 Years as Downtown Frederick Landmark
The Deli at 57 E. Patrick St. celebrated two decades in business with its same decor and menu, high prices from the past, and a loyal crowd. Owners Neil and Carol Levitt recall opening after the Carter campaign, the deli’s carry-out and dine-in service, and regulars who keep coming back for vegetarian soup and bagels. Regulars, locals, and visitors like Judge William Wenner praise the enduring atmosphere as downtown Frederick’s dining staple.
