Jennie Lee Weedon Lee 95 Reflects On Long Life
Jennie Lee Weedon Lee, born in 1871, recalls a life of teaching in Sunnyside and Hopeland, preaching at a local church, and playing piano and organ. She married Joe Lee at 17, started a 15‑child family, and worked at Fort Detrick later in life. Her husband died in 1964 after 65 years of marriage. She cherishes church friends, endures loss, and expects to join loved ones in the afterlife.
