Former ballerina teaches yoga in rural Maryland
Inez Russo, 74, a former professional dancer, now teaches yoga at her New Market area home and volunteers at Sunrise retirement home in Frederick. She notes modern life’s uptight mood and TV dependence, crediting movement and positive thinking for wellbeing. Her life includes a strong mother’s influence, charity work for St Jude’s, and a lighthearted church yoga idea that once caused a priest to fear it was a cult.
