Brunswick man restores river site and cemetery memories
Brunswick resident David McIntosh returned from 1957 to 1992 military service to find Potomac River swimming hole choked with tires and a neglected Be Bethany Lutheran Cemetery with 40 to 86 graves. He cleaned the site, urged boundary restoration, and researches Brunswick history, linking river memories and local families while seeking community help to revive the cemetery and preserve town heritage.
