No tickets remain for the January 2 Orange Bowl between No. 5 Florida and No. 6 Maryland. Florida sold out its allotment and Maryland moved the final 106 of 22,000 seats. The game will be played before a sold-out crowd of 75,540 for the second straight year.
Miyako Japanese Steak and Seafood opens at 1005 W Patrick St Frederick seating 180 with hibachi and sushi bar. The restaurant hours run 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Owner Kwang Kim also runs another local restaurant. A private 25 seat room is available for dinners or parties. The menu features sesame chicken hibachi steak topanyaki filet mignon hibachi shrimp hibachi scallops hibachi salmon steak hibachi lobster vegetable delight with miyako soup salad shrimp appetizer hibachi vegetables steamed rice and fried rice. Gyoza tempura and desserts including green tea ice cream are offered. A sushi chef prepares orders at the sushi bar while hibachi shows entertain at tables. Sushi menu includes temaki maki spicy rolls sashimi and combinations with tuna yellowtail eel crab salmon and shrimp. Call 301-620-0024 for more information.
