Franklin college program notes honor George King donor
The Franklin college dinner featured Pe BL Wallace describing George W. King as a benefactor, with a portrait gifted by Mrs. Laura Shirley King. He traced the historic land marks around the college and the three acre College Acre laid out in the 1800s, including the east boundary stones and the Madison State road line. The talk also noted surveying work by W H Mc Coy to map the campus boundaries.
