Franklin College Club Formed in Indianapolis
Fifty former Franklin College students and officials met at the Board of Trade building on February 23 in Indianapolis to form the Franklin College Club of Indianapolis. Officers named were President Mark Miller, Vice President Emerson Chaille, Secretary Mrs. May Moore, and Treasurer Kenneth G. Foster. Neal Thurston presided.

DePauw Wins in Forty-Second Indiana oratorical contest
In Indianapolis at Tomlinson Hall on a Friday eve, Ralph Bollman of DePauw won first place for his manuscript speech on Brutus. William J. Milroy of Notre Dame took second with A True Hero, tied for second on manuscript, while T Elsa Jones of Earlham spoke on Democracy and Co operation. Ferdinand Tannenbaum of Wabash led in manuscript but placed fourth in delivery.

Dormitory Party Honors President Hanley At Girls Gather
Mrs Landis hosts an anniversary event for dormitory residents at the college in honor of President Hanley. About forty male students attend with faculty members as decorations feature American flags plants and wall hatchets. The evening includes a duel recitation by Goldier Spencer and Irene Huntington and performances by the college quartet piano solos and various recitations. Robert King of Indianapolis attends as an out of town guest.
Earlham Defeats Franklin in Fast Exhibition Basketball
Earlham defeated Franklin in a rapid exhibition game noted as the fastest college floor display by a visiting team. The Baptists dropped their second contest to the Quakers on Thursday.
