The proposed shift to town rooming reduces campus disruption but may diminish college life, with dormitories fading as Franklin faces progress.
The Indiana State Oratorical Association plans a February 23 program at Tomlinson Hall Indianapolis with presiding officer Paul P. Boyd Hanover. Participants include University Male Quartet and students from Notre Dame Earlham DePauw Butler Franklin and more. Judges on manuscript are John Finley James Winans and E A Ross. on delivery W E Stone Charles B R Williams and Charles A Greathouse. Continued on page seven.
McQuinn scored five baskets and joined Vandiver and Sheek with key plays to overcome an early Baptist lead. The second half saw rough play with frequent stoppages, but Ole Walker and Fleming contributed as DePauw pulled ahead and held on for the win.
