Parker Barred From Competition at University of Chicago
Captain Charles O. Parker of the University of Chicago track team is barred from competition this year and forced to resign the captaincy. The Phi Beta Kappa scholar had credits to graduate but faculty rule bars graduates from athletic competition. The council said action prevents students from being carried into office by athletic popularity.
