Seniors Hold Chapel Exercises in April Program
In April the seniors presented a spring chapel with a cap and gown display and a brief musical program after devotional exercises led by Messrs. Odell and Ferris. The chorus sang Lovely Night and a piano trio performed by Mabel Toombs, Harvey Chandler, and Clara Cosby. A duet Home to Our Mountains by Hanna and Goldie Spencer closed the program noted as carefully prepared and enjoyed by all. The report adds that medical education declined with fourteen fewer medical schools and 1200 fewer students in 1913 versus 1912, plus a drop of 500 graduates. Miss Lucy Guthrie IL has returned from studying music in New York to Indianapolis.
