Will county Economic Affairs commission unveils the International Business Development program to foster joint ventures licenses and cooperative marketing between Will county firms and European companies. George Madden international consultant from Bayside Wisconsin will direct the effort with support from County Board Chairman Lyman Tieman.

Old Campground fest at New Lenox United Methodist Church
New Lenox United Methodist Church hosts the eighth annual Old Campground festival on Saturday June 25 with more than 100 arts and crafts exhibits, a ten kilometer race starting at 8 a.m., and continuous free entertainment from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Registration for the race is at 7 a.m. at Haven avenue entrance. Trophies for the race are awarded at 10 a.m. Entertainment includes Melody Drifters, Drift Around Squares, piano soloists, Lincoln Way high school Swing choir, and more with a 6 p.m. concert by Lincoln Way high school band. Children’s activities are planned along with a chicken Kiev luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free. rain date June 26.
