Farm Hand Ends Life At Fairfield Farm Barn
James Carter a 63 year old farmhand on W. A. Fairfield's property four miles south of town hanged himself in a cow stable. Coroner's inquest follows as authorities say ill health and recent worry over the Fairfield absence contributed to the act. Carter, a carpenter by trade, had six months on the farm and leaves a estranged wife in nearby places and several children. The body was moved to Klaehn Malching undertaking rooms after discovery by fellow worker John Horn.
