Fireman Spencer Dies From Railroad Injuries
An eastbound Pennsylvania freight collided with another freight near Bourbon forty five miles west of Fort Wayne at 4 30 this morning. Fireman Felton W Spencer died at St Josephs hospital of internal injuries. Conductor William F Koontz 2305 Walton Ave was killed. Engineer Arthur M Slagle suffered facial injuries and possible skull fracture. Christopher H Conley sustained facial injuries and other bruises. Two other crewmen were badly hurt and will be off duty weeks.

Samuel Whitelow, 40, a grain merchant, confessed to sheriff and prosecutor that May Sapp, 20, Moran Kansas, killed herself after rejecting his advances.
