Wreck Follows Calhoun Street Horse Incident and Suicide
A buggy wreck occurred when a horse hitched to W P Smith’s wagon in front of the First National Bank on Calhoun Street dragged a second horse into the vehicle. The second horse spooked Smith’s horse, driving it north and causing significant damage.
