Fort Wayne shoppers hear of a July clearance opening Saturday at 9:00 am featuring drastic price cuts across all departments. The sale touts hundreds of items at cost or less, including suits, jackets, skirts, waists, dresses, and coats, with aggressively slashed prices designed to move surplus stock.
Silks in black and colors, foulards, taffetas, satins, laces, drapery silks and velvets are offered at cost. Cashmeres, Henriettas, voiles, cheviots, whip cords and other fabrics also selling at cost, described as the greatest sale in colored dress fabrics ever attempted.
Two large lots of Black Dress Goods in silk and wool weaves offered at 1.50 per yard, with 30 pieces of Fancy Black Dress Goods in Creton weaves priced at 0.79 per yard.
