Jarret Illinois August 9 One of the most fiendish acts in Will county history occurred last Sunday evening 5 30 when 13 year old Nellie Byron daughter of a Wesley township farmer disappeared while visiting her aunt. Her body was found Tuesday in hazel bushes showing signs of assault Ernest Lacore a 21 year old farm hand confessed to murder saying he strangled her. Sheriff Harris and Keen faced threats from a mob as 1000 men were reported to be coming to Joliet to lynch him.

Pretty Domestic Thief Arrested At Rosenthal Home
