Day set for Indiana authors study in schools
The Indiana club of Chicago urges Indiana schools and colleges to dedicate Friday, April 25, to a day of special exercises honoring contemporary Indiana authors. The plan follows a banquet for Indiana authors in Chicago on April 2 with a reception and musicale, featuring Lieutenant Governor Gilbert as a speaker. Six authors had books dramatized in Chicago theaters this past year, a成果 the club cites to promote local literary pride.
