At the Decatur Indiana session of the Woman's Home Missionary convention of the Bory Wayne M. E. district, Mer. John Nib Nak presided as district president. Elected officers include President John Sonex of Decatur and Vice President Mrs. E. B. Robinhoo of Fort Wayne, with district officials for secretary, treasurer, and departmental roles, reflecting growth in eight auxiliaries totaling 265 members and rising memberships this year. Mexican Federals Release Local Man Ben Hemenway
Ben D. Hemenway, a former Fort Wayne resident held by Mexican authorities after fighting with insurrectos at Casas Grandes on March 6, has been released. He had been aided by Hon. T. Elson and the state department in Washington. A grand opening is announced for the Inn at Lake James, Ind., on Sunday, June 18, 1971.
