Harris backs Fort Wayne route for canal project now

T. W. Harris of Chiteags, promoter of the northern route for the Yolen and Chicago ship canal, led Fort Wayne waterways committee members on a five hour inspection trip north of Fort Wayne. Harris favors the Fort Wayne route via Goshen to South Bend and pledged local help from South Bend when the canal commission visits next September.
