Local Resident Frisb ie Dies of Heart Trouble in Van Wert

A well known Van Wert resident, Frisbie of Walout street, died this morning due to heart trouble after showing symptoms last Thursday. He was born in Van Wert sixty two years ago and was a past noble grand of Van Wert Lodge. Survived only by his son Heuben Frisbie who lived with him. Separate notes mention a fire on North Wayne street, a Morehead family reunion at the Wiseman home, and the death of C. F. Richey, a Van Wert pioneer woman aged about 79, with son Avery W. Scott, a railroad engineer, as survivor. Also reported are visitors from Portland Oregon, and Port Huron Michigan connected to lodge work, two weddings at a bride's home, and the North Cherny street Monthly club meeting.

Burglaries Hit Albion Hardware Store in Past Five Years

Albion News reports a burglary at P. J. Branley hardware store in Albion Indiana. Thieves stole revolvers ammunition razors and cash from a register using chisels and a broken window to enter and exit through the rear door. Sheriff Cleland mobilized nearby towns to probe the thefts totaling 150 to 200 dollars.

Death of former player Lou Hunt in Fort Wayne area

Lou Hunt, ex baseball player for this city and Fort Wayne, was killed Friday between a steam power crane and a mine steel hopper near Fairmount Indiana where he served as shipping clerk. He leaves a wife and four children at age thirty three.
