Death of Fort Wayne Banker Jared D Bond Retired

Jared D Bond long prominent Fort Wayne banker died in Alhambra California after a heart illness following a world trip. Born in Rockport Missouri he rose to cashier at State Banks of Indiana then Fort Wayne National Bank and helped found Old National Bank. Survived by sisters in law and numerous nephews and nieces, he never married and was active in Masons Lindenwood Cemetery Grand Army circles and veterans groups. Funeral planned in Alhambra with local services.

John W. Henline Dies in Columbia City

John W Henline of Thorncruck femimity died Monday morning at 8 o clock due to kidney and other ailments. He was 72 years old, born in Stare county Olle, later living in Huntingiyn and Whitley counties. He leaves a large family including Meda Hentine and several siblings and children. Funeral services set for Thursday in Whitley County.

June 10 Huntington reports John Difenbaugh found guilty in Roanoke circuit court of burglary and theft. He faces return to the Jeffersonville reformatory. Noah Herzog, seen near the scene, is charged with receiving stolen property and implicated in a related robbery. Herzog has a prior record for assault and theft in Huntington and Roanoke.
