Conover Arrested in Peru for Bank Forgery Case

A. J. Conover, a 60 year old from Peru, suspected for forging drafts under the alias W. H. Banks and ordered by Amer ican Bankers Association. He was identified by photos of a 1891 bank forgery convict, pardoned by Governor Jackson, and arrested as he attempted to claim lithographed drafts for W. H. Banks & Co. at a Peru address. Henry W. Minster of Pinkerton oversaw the arrest.
