L A W Meet Secures Wagner As Clerk Of Course
W H Loveless received a letter from F J Wagner of Chicago Bearings accepting his invitation to serve as clerk of course for the L A W state meet on July 3 and 4. Wagner, well known for similar duties at the national circuit meet, will also work at the Louisville national L A W meet August 10 to 15. Pontiac Michigan June 16 a three man committee has appraised cyclone damage in Lapeer and Oakland counties at 148095 for buildings livestock and farm effects. Excluded are fences timber orchards crops and church and lodge hall losses. Only about 20000 of relief funds subscribed so far, while farm indebtedness reaches 115000. Some farmers are said to be worse off than paupers.

The Board of Public Works met yesterday afternoon to settle a sewer on Eliza street. Mrs. Hayden may build the sewer through her land and allow taps for others at the usual price. A Shawnee avenue sidewalk petition was filed for future consideration. Referred items include relaying sidewalks on Erie Street and a faulty Broadway Heustis culvert. A 12 inch crack sewer was authorized in the first alley south of Hayden street from Winter to Gay streets.
