Marriages occurred at West Minster parsonage on Feb 22 and Feb 27. Alexander Nicholas died at 20 from heart failure at his parents home on Indiana Avenue. George R Hench and daughter Margarette travel to Berry County PA for a family reunion. Miss Josephine Page hosted guests for Miss Abrams of Adrian, Mich, with ices and cake.

Col Crary of Indianapolis, special agent for Central Union Telephone, was in town seeking right of way for a line from Fort Wayne to Lima. He says New Haven can connect with Fort Wayne, New York, Boston, Chicago and other points if the people want it.
Judge Grosscup refused to remit Joseph R. Dunlop's prison term after expert affidavits questioned by the court. A physician selected by the judge found no imminent stroke risk from confinement, noting Bright's disease as the primary danger. two weeks were granted to finish his bill of exceptions before possible Joliet imprisonment on March 14.
February 28 report on the resubmission vote in the house shows forty-one for and fifty-one against with six absent or refusing to vote. In Cincinnati on February 28 crowds gathered around city hall and the jail for the arraignment of Scott Jackson and Alonzo Walling in the Pearl Bryan murder.
