W R Brown of Monroeville presented The Hen for Profit discussing Leghorns for meat and Asiatic fowls for eggs while George P Lawrence led the Leghorn side and Elijah Houk the Asiatic side. Mr Brigham of Massilon spoke on soil fertility, urging crop rotation with clover, corn and wheat. Afternoon topics include hog and corn fertility, substitute hay, and farming compared with other avocations led by J S Ainslie and Wesley Johnson.
