Brave Lifesavers Risked All To Rescue Schooner Crew

In Rockport Massachusetts a north east snowstorm drove a two masted schooner onto Pigeon Cove rocks. Lifesavers captained by John M. Parsons and eight others launched a lifeboat in a fierce sea, rescued the exhausted crew, and towed the vessel to safety. Medals will be awarded to the rescuers.
