Forest Park voters approved a 45 cent increase for School District 91’s educational fund by 61 percent. The rate rises to 1.785 per 100 and total school rate to 2.279 per 100 assessed valuation. Superintendent Arthur Jones credited volunteers and the community for passage.
Thiesse is named Forest Park Superintendent of Public Services and will start January 1 at $18 500 annually while remaining plumbing inspector.
