Forest Park Lacks Welcome Wagon Hostess Position
Forest Park has no Welcome Wagon hostess after the prior representative moved away five years ago and no applicant has been found. Barbara Burns, Welcome Wagon field manager, explains the firm runs a local ad service placing hostesses in homes to introduce new residents and local merchants. The Chicago area hosts are all female, work part time on commission, and pay merchants about one dollar per home. If a Forest Park position opens, Burns will hire a suitable local candidate who can drive, climb stairs, and type.
