Forest Park hosts old fashioned 4th of July celebration
Forest Park held an all day 1 p.m. to fireworks event with a water fight between local fire crews, children’s games, and a donkey softball match by Bob Crosby’s Donkey Ball from Chippewa Falls. Spectators viewed the display from park grounds and nearby bridges as booths sold food, drink, flags, and historical society memberships amid musical entertainment and field dedication for Fred O’Connor Ball.
