Forest Park Abandons Outside Water Meters Plan

Proviso District Earns Tenth Title I Program Push Up
Proviso Township High Schools District 209 receives its tenth consecutive Title I grant for Operation Push Up. The plan includes a two-part program with tutoring for current students and a summer session for elementary graduates. 170 English speaking and 30 non English speaking students are slated to join in fall 1975. Twenty five teachers and five aides will run small group instruction focusing on reading and math. Parish parents will receive brochures detailing the program and registration. An April 1 park district election lists five candidates for two six year seats: Milchhoefer Collis Kaercher Scolire Di Foggio.

Proviso East presents Sounds of Yesteryear and Now on Sunday February 9 at 7 30 p m in the school auditorium.
