Village Hospital Charity Dance Draws Large Crowd

The Infonent dance party at Speedway hospital Saturday night drew about 150 young people from Borert Tiark and Maywed. Eugene Joyaux and The Originators donated a lively program of tunes. Soldiers did not dance, yet guests enjoyed the festive atmosphere, bouquets, cake, and a nurse host. Major Mark Do White attended with Miss Myrtle Hellen as accompanist. the event was sponsored by Mrs Edith Velleman and the Red Cross service.

Four Boys Arrested In Keystone Avenue Wagon Parade

Albert Longfield Bux Wille Joe Kelly and William Provhl were arrested by Volks Officers Herman Bursta Wriday for several hours. They found a dilapidated wagon near Keystone Avenue and River Forest and paraded it along Maison Street. Michael Zullo of Chicago took over the repair shop at 7427 Madison Street formerly owned by C Sulemon of Oak Park. He has been proprietor since September 1.
