Chicago Youths Seized After Forest Park Car Pursuit
Forest Park police stopped a touring car carrying eight or nine Chicago youths and a year-old girl, Adine Schultz, after she screamed for help. Two youths escaped. one was chased and shot at. Schultz, used to an Oak Park area employer, testified the group attacked her after a ride with a man she knew as Frank. The driver, a Chicago advertising solicitor, and several others were jailed or held for grand jury consideration with bond decisions and witness statements pending.

A public inspection parade showcased the model electrical home at Forest Avenue and Thomas Street River Forest. Attended by Forest Park officials Public Service Company of Northern Illinois dignitaries and Chicago area citizens the event featured queen Mrs Emmea Cameron and a three-part parade led by Willian J Lynch. About 10,000 visitors have already toured the home which boasts a catty fireplace soft carpets and luxurious furnishings prepared by Lucy Mead an interior decorator from Chicago.
