Suburban Cook County TB Sanitarium District Opens New Clinic
A new two story clinic at 7556 W. Jackson Blvd will serve over half a million suburban Cook County residents. The Suburban Cook County Tuberculosis Sanitarium District plans dedication on Sunday September 15 with Dr Edward A Piszcrek executive director announcing centralized public health TB activity including a free chest X ray mobile unit and follow up care. The reinforced concrete building houses X ray records and a 12 year history of TB work replacing the Madison street clinic and will host a cornerstone sealing ceremony at 2 PM led by Dr Ralph G Wily and Judge Otto Kerner.
