The western suburb prepares for a September 11 Bataan Day parade commemorating the 15th anniversary of U S Army survivors from Company 8 192nd Tank Battalion. Richard Hoeschele, 13, of 432 Hanish, earned the Expert Rifleman medal, the second highest Ameri can Junior shooting award, after firing hundreds of targets and passing 13 lower NBA qualifications.
