Moose Women Hold Christmas Party in October
Women of the Moose Forest Park chapter 245 hosted a large October Christmas party with a tree, Santa Claus, cake walk, and music. Mary Hereau and Carmine Mazzullo thanked coworkers for gifts and donations to Moose Heart and Moosehaven. A business meeting followed. events planned include Library chapter night on Nov 6 and a Nov 20 meeting, with a note on changing meeting nights.

The Oak Park YMCA Young Adult Club teams with Cel estiat Music and Carl Schreiber to launch the Broomstick Bell on Saturday October 26 in the Petite Gym at 255 South Marion Street Oak Park. Halloween doughnuts and cider set the mood as about 100 adult dancers fill the gym chasing the glowing hours. Prizes will be awarded for the unique dreamsticks parade. Dancing begins at 8 45 p.m.
