Forest Park Community Garden uprooted for new factory
Forest Park Community Garden on Industrial Dr will be uprooted to make way for a factory in the industrial park. Bloodmobile to visit Forest Park for blood drive Friday
Forest Park residents and relatives will receive free blood via a 1976 Red Cross agreement. Since then about 250 units have been donated for 60 families, with a goal of 600 to 650 annually. The bloodmobile comes Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Naval Reserve Center 7410 Roosevelt Rd. Call 771-3136 for appointments or to help.
