Man Says $1500 Taken from Him
An Indianapolis man, Ben Plott, told Forest Park police he was robbed of $1,500 in the alley behind 1125 Hannah. He arrived in Chicago October 2 and met a man in a Greyhound depot bar, described as about 40, 5 feet 7 inches, 160 pounds, light complexion, wearing a dark suit. They left in the other man’s car. Plott says he was beaten and robbed of his billfold at Forest Park. Police found him staggering in the alley with facial injuries. witnesses varied on car color.
