Willard Yackey Dies In Plane Crash Near Forest Park
Aviator and airship designer Willard T. Yackey Jr. died when a test plane broke apart after a sharp turn. The crash near Roosevelt Road sparked flames, injuring bystanders, and the body was taken to a local mortuary before burial in St. Louis. Two Proviso Boys Drown After Boat Capsizes
