Ham Holds Highest Honor For 15 Year Old Ham Radio Operator
Frank C. Rollins son of Mr and Mrs Frank Rollins of 7436 Harrison recently earned the Extra license from the FCC the top Ham Radio honor. Police Make Important Arrests
Lotal police made two significant arrests in the past week. In Bellwood, officers arrested two robbers after a late night strong arm robbery, detaining them at 7395 Roosevelt. A third suspect confessed involvement and was also taken into custody. In a separate case, Officer Gary Doss stopped Donald Leonard of Chicago for bent plates, uncovering stolen tires and burglary tools and confirming parole violations and four theft warrants.
