Rosenberg Heads Commercial Association Elects Officers

Rosenberg was elected president of the Forest Hurk garage Commercial Association at a Friday meeting. Edgne Boescu Hare was named vice president, William Horn secretary treasurer Cort Uh and A. WY. Wedd among others chosen as directors. The gathering approved plans to notify members, invite nonmembers, and arrange a future meeting with potential membership drives for Wattito No Yr. and Forest Park businesses.

New Theater Set to Open June 10 in Forest Park

Forest Park’s Asters Forest Park theater at Madison and Ferdinand is planned to open June 17, not May 30, with Wil Rothapfel managing. The venue will feature Giddy Neestrun photos from Goldwyn and Select, a symphony orchestra, a Klimballava organ, deluxe decor, and heavy velvet carpets. Building work speeds toward occupancy by the Gi. A. Gulley Tattooing Co. and others.
