National Air Fair lights up Orchard Airport in July

More than 1300 acres of Chicago Orchard Airport along Mannheim and Higgins roads will host the Air Force Association National Air Fair on July 3 and 4. The event features jet planes and hundreds of other aircraft for public spectators. Tickets are on sale through Air Force Association members including local member George Anders at 335 Burkhardt Ct, Volage 7841.

Village Conducts Safety Program For Lane Fourth

Forest Park Police Chief William J. Kern announced a three day Fourth of July traffic safety program. He said the nationwide effort aims to reduce holiday deaths and is coordinated by the National Safety Council with cities and states joining in the united effort.
